I’ve always been interested in how their minds work, how they can pull off double lives with ease. This blog is no way meant to promote violence, only to open a window into the minds of these monsters and to show how they can be anyone, even the person next door with a wife and two kids.
About Me
I’m a 23 years old female and live in Maryland. I’ve always been fasinated by serial killers and the like. I’m a fan of such shows a CSI, Cold Case Files, Cold Case, Without A Trace and Forensic Files. I’m not sure what drew me towards such a topic. I guess you could say it just kinda happened. Most of the books in my collection are about various killers and cases. Those books along with various websites will be where I get most of the information you see here. i’m also a less-than-thirtyish female and i’ve always felt fairly isolated in my interest in murder, murderers, and more specifically, serial murderers. i came across this site in earnest, half-heartedly searching for details on specific killers. i didn’t expect to find a site that was so thorough or scientific in nature. i am not a “goth” child, with a penchance for dark eyeliner or leather. i genuinely enjoy the sociological and forensic aspect to this dichotomy of human psyche, and i genuinely enjoy this site! keep up the good work.
Hi I also female under 30…have had an interest since I was 15 I wanted to be a profiler..before you even heard about them in the media or on tv shows.I love this site and it is in my favs..One thing I wanted to mention to you is; under the unsolved you dont have the East Area Rapist or The Original Nightstalker same killer refered by 2 diffrent names.
Hi DS..I was a child when Richard Chase ran near enough to my schoolyard escaping from his pope ave murder that my dad picked my sister and I up early. I also lived on the same street as Gerald Gallegos, who murdered numerous people here in Sacramento. I am now a homicide detective here, and want to echo Ameena. The East Area Rapist/Original Nightstalker was the most frightening man in our city’s history. He dwarfs the others I mentioned in ferocity, cunning, and intelligence. Your site is well organized, and publicizing his story is well worth it. There is still no DNA match to any of those incarcerated in our California prisons, despite an aggressive testing procedure here. He could easily be operating elsewhere. Good site, and good luck!
who is the east area rapist? i’ll tell you who he is! he is a man angry at women probably because of perhaps the way he was treated by his mother or he could have been made fun of by women; maybe his masculinity was put down & he stayed angry. but aside from that, i heard a rumor that he was killed in a traffic accident in the bay area back in the late 1980’s.
He is alive and well(the original Night Stalker) and lives in Redding,California. He is on the discussion board of a and e tv posting under various hats controlling the entire board a http://www.ear-ons.com
