What Do You Think?
There appears to be a serial killer on the loose in England. His/Her victims seem to be prostitutes. When the story first broke they kept comparing this new serial killer to an old one, Peter Sutcliffe, the Yorkshire Ripper, who killed 13 women, mainly prostitutes, in northern England between 1975 and 1980.
Do you think that comparing drives the current serial killer to committ more murders? I can see how it could. They would want to try and “one up” the past almost to say “hey, I’m bigger, badder and better.” Do you think that this new person isn’t even paying attention to the comparisons?
Let me know what you think about the comparing of old and new killers.
